Job Opportunity: Web Developer

Chameleon Net is one of the UK’s leading digital agencies. And we’re growing fast. We’re now looking for a Web Developer experienced in high-volume, high traffic sites to work on a major project for a global brand.
Client requirements range from complex e-commerce applications, CMS and online communities, so your role will include:
- developing .NET, C#, XML and web services
- using varied technologies (C#, ASP.NET, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Web Services to name just a few) to dynamically interact with SQL databases - mainly MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
A computer science or equivalent degree (2:2 and above) and a strong foundation in programming techniques and theories, including object orientated programming, are essential in this role, as are:
- at least 2-3 years experience of web application development
- experience in developing high performance, high traffic websites involving mutiple concurrent database transactions
- experience in integrating sites with external systems such as payment gateways, fulfilment providers and content delivery networks
- an eye for detail and high quality standards.
We’re also looking for enthusiasm and self-motivation, the ability to work effectively with limited supervison and excellent communication and client liaison skills.
