Web developer Chameleon Net to hold CMS briefing on 12th February.

Web applications development specialist Chameleon Net today announced that it will hold a bespoke briefing for the charity and non-profit sector on the back of a rising interest in web content management systems (CMS).

A CMS allows non-technical staff to edit and author web content directly, irrespective of their location, and without affecting the technical architecture or overall design of websites.

The event is free of charge, takes place on 12th February 9.30am-12pm, and is open to individuals in an Executive, Marketing or Information Management role at charities or not-for-profit organisations. Those wishing to sign up should email Dan Martin or call 020 7543 6871.

Vicky Reeves, Managing Director at Chameleon Net, said: "Much of our recent work in the charity and non-profit sector has been building content management systems. This sector is looking to reduce costs and improve productivity. Investing time, effort and budget in a system that allows staff to manage web content directly is an attractive avenue."
