Post-production visual effects software developer The Foundry last night beat stiff competition to win the prestigious title of Best Sales & Marketing Online at the London regional finals of the national E-Commerce Awards.

www.thefoundry.co.uk serves The Foundry's customers in the TV and movie post-production industry across the globe.

The website is unique in the industry, offering instant access to new software plug-ins for post-production compositing applications, immediate e-fulfilment, dynamic temporary and permanent licence key generation, and online customer support.

The site was developed by Soho Square-based e-commerce specialist Chameleon Net.

The winners of the regional awards, particularly competitive in the London region with thousands of entries, will go on to compete in the national finals in two weeks' time. Winners of the national awards will be announced at a Gala event on London's Park Lane on 6th October, with a prize of £50,000 up for grabs.

Now in its seventh year the e-commerce awards recognise the best examples of the use of the internet, information and communication technology from small and medium sized businesses to large enterprise and the public sector.
