Recyclezone, a great new website for children and teachers, has been launched by Waste Watch, the leading organisation promoting sustainable resource use in the UK.

www.recyclezone.org.uk uses state of the art graphics and animation to bring the issues of waste and recycling to life.

The website, funded by the Directory Recycling Scheme, is organised into five zones. Four of the zones provide children with games, activities and information about the 3Rs of waste - reduce, reuse, recycle. The fifth zone is for teachers and provides a host of resources and information useful to those teaching children about sustainable resource use.

"This is a really exciting resource for both children and teachers" commented Lisa Cockerton, Waste Watch education manager. "The Recyclezone website presents crucial information in a colourful and engaging way. It's a great way for us to share our education expertise with others."

www.recyclezone.org.uk has been developed in response to the numerous requests Waste Watch receives for information on waste from children and teachers alike. The website is being launched as Waste Watch celebrates 10 years of education projects, which have significantly contributed to a reduction in waste.

The site was developed by Chameleon Net.
