The Rugby World Cup Starts Now!   (01/08/07)

Well, actually, it starts on 7th September, but the fun starts here with EDF Energy, official worldwide partner of the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

Chameleon Net is proud to announce the launch of EDF Energy's Rugby World Cup microsite, featuring games and competitions from now until the end of the tournament on 20th October. Apart from all the web-based fun, there are also exclusive prizes to be won, from supporter packs to Quarter Final tickets!

Designed to tickle the fun-buds of all rugby fans, the first feature of the site is a Flash game where you play as one of England, Scotland or Wales, slinging clumps of mud from the rugger pitch at other nations to knock them over in as quick a time as possible. Knock them all over really quickly, and apart from the chance to win great prizes, you'll get the ultimate kudos of joining the leader board!

And that's just the first nugget of fun. In the pipeline for release over the coming weeks are quizzes to challenge your rugby knowledge, and a 'prediction engine' where you can use your skills of deduction to guess the fixture results. Playing any of these puts you in with a shout of winning prizes too!
