On your wavelength 'Working with Chameleon is a really positive experience. I adore the design. You absolutely met the brief'

Game design

Online games are a fantastic way to engage with your audience.

In 2004, 46%* of Internet users in the UK went online for entertainment.

Combine that with the fact that around 79%** used the Internet for finding information about products & services, and online games can prove an effective medium for promoting your company.

For example, our clients use games as part of a communications strategy, to encourage interaction, or to generate revenue.

GAME DESIGN EXAMPLES:

Barnardo's - Hot Shot Santa

For Christmas 2007, Barnardo's asked Chameleon to create a fun game for their supporters to play, and also support and reinforce their national 'Believe In Children' campaign.

We came up with Hot Shot Santa...

"Oh no! It's Christmas Eve and Santa has left his deliveries a little late this year! Help him get as many presents into the house as possible by throwing them down the chimney before the sun comes up!"

EDF Energy - Rugby World Cup 2007

Chameleon produced EDF Energy's Rugby World Cup microsite to promote their sponsorhip of the tournament, and engage in a fun way with business energy customers.

The site featured games and competitions until the end of the tournament, including a mud slinging game, 2 quizzes, and a 'result prediction engine'.

Getting involved online gave people the chance to win exclusive prizes, from supporter packs to Quarter Final tickets!

Even though the World Cup has finished, EDF Energy have kindly allowed us to keep a version of the site for posterity - and to share with you too if you'd like to play: Visit the EDF Energy Rugby World Cup site. Unfortunately, as you might imagine, the prizes have all already been won!

Waste Watch - Recyclezone

As an excellent example of a game used in a unique situation, for both fun and educational purposes, why not test your wits against the Rubbish Challenge?

We developed this game for Waste Watch to promote environmental issues to primary school kids.
